If asked what I am most proud of in my garden, it would have to be my roses. I have lost count of how many varieties I have now, well over 50, many old roses that I have saved here locally as well. I love them all, could not pick a favorite... I love whatever is blooming the day you ask me. In the spring of 2011 I created my dream rose garden in the walk-out area from our basement in two large raised beds. I planted over 30 new roses in one growing season. I cannot tell you how excited I was to see each one bloom for the first time. I can honestly say I had roses blooming from early May to the first of December.... never missing a day. It was the first year I started cutting my roses and bringing them inside..... Here are just a few of my favorite pictures, look to the sidebar for names of a few favorite varieties.
