The House is Ready To Show.... Probably the Last Home Tour

Welcome back to Creative Country Mom's!
Yes, it has been awhile since I have shared an update.
Hubby's transfer is all set up now... he will start work in early October.
We have rented a townhouse apartment in Huntsville
and take possession on the 29th of this month.
This will just be a place to call home base until our home sells and we can buy a new home.
We have a favorite, and pray it all comes together and we can make an offer soon.

This week we signed the paperwork to list our home on the lake.
So today I will share a whole first floor tour with you....

My Cottage Kitchen, Ready for Listing....

Welcome back, I am sitting here typing and waiting for the phone to ring.
My hubby is expecting to hear his start date later today.
I am excited and anxious and a thousand different emotions....
So I will share more pics of the house with you....
These will the some of the photos I will use for the listing.
I have to get them down to about 20-30 for the sites.
That is hard for me!

New Light and Bright Cottage Style Wall Hutch

Hello and welcome back to Creative Country Mom's!
If you have seen me this week... I have probably had a paint brush in my hand.
I have been repairing walls and touching up trim all over the house.
No, still no news about moving.
I am hoping we hear something today and get a few things done over the weekend.
Here is my little hutch before.
I actually loved this green for a long time.
I just thought moving forward I wanted to lighten it up a bit more.
So here it is now, a soft cottage cream.

A Very Vintage Style Living Room

Hello again and welcome back to Creative Country Moms!
I am so glad you stopped by today!!
No, I do not... errrrr.... no news to share yet.
Dang it, I sure hope it is soon!

We are still waiting to hear if my sweet hubby is going to be transferred to Huntsville, AL.
I have been preparing as best as I can for the possible sale of our home.
So before I tear everything apart I will be sharing each room of the house.
Today we are enjoying our eclectic vintage style family room.
I have wanted to redo this room for quite a while, but it somehow ends up unchanged.
I think it is the homey feel and the soft colors in here.
It is a comfortable room to set in.

Welcome back to Creative Country Mom's!
No news yet... but still thinking we will be relocating to Alabama.
So here is a kitchen update since I moved the pie safe and side table out.
I removed everything from the area above the window and the back of the cabinets.

Simplify~~~ A Little Less Might Be More...

Welcome back to Creative Country Mom's!
No, we do not have any big news to share.
But yes, I am still hoping we will be moving to Huntsville, AL.
So what am I doing.... I am simplifying my decor.
Yesterday was kind of a hard day for me.
I packed up four totes of vintage goodies, lace, trinkets and whatnots.
I am not selling them, or donating them.
I am just decluttering.

Let me just say, I am not a minimalist!
I tell friends to display what you love...
Have it where you can enjoy it!

But there is a fine line between...
"This lady likes to decorate..."
and
"This lady may be nuts!"

Getting You Caught Up & Some Pretty Home Decor! ~~~

Welcome Back To Creative Country Mom's!
We are still playing the waiting game on the possible transfer.
If we do not hear anything today, it will be a week or more.
My hubbys factory shuts down a week every July and it is next week.
We were told it usually takes four weeks to hear anything.
We are two weeks in now....
So lets have some fun looking around the house today.....
There pics were from earlier this Spring and I did not share them yet.
If we do end up moving I will do a whole house post before I take everything down.
(OMG... what a thought right?)

Hello and weclome back sweet friends....
If you follow me on Instagram you know I have some major news.
We might be moving to Huntsville, Alabama.
I know, start freaking out now....
Me too, but in a good way.
Most of the time.
It is not 100% and I was not even going to write about it if it was not for sure.
But then I thought you might like to talk it out with me...
I do that you know.
So for today I am sharing my little kitchen redo of the island!
Long over do, but lets take a look around.

DIY - Using Faux Shiplap Wallpaper in my Glass Front Cabinets

Welcome back to Creative Country Mom's!
Today is a fun, easy decorating idea to add new life in your cabinets.
Last year I did a little paint and paper redo of my kitchen in a cottage style.
I added these lace insets to my glass cabinets at that time and was very happy with it.
Fast forward a few months and this area became a catch all of "kitchen junk".
It had to be cleaned up....
So I cleared it all out and took out the two shelves....
And wallpapered the back of it with my faux shiplap paper!

Bringing The Garden Inside

Hello there... just a quick hello today.
I wanted to share this sweet little bouquet of fresh Annabelle hydrangeas on my kitchen island.
I love to bring flowers indoors and add them to my cottage decorating.
Hydrangeas keep really nicely indoors, they will last 4-5 days at least.
Yes, I did do something different in the kitchen...
I added some faux shiplap to my island!

I will take better pic and share more of this area soon.
I promise!

We have been enjoying the lake and finally swimming!

And yes, its getting hot here!

Welcome back to Creative Country Mom's.
I always thing of wedding in June.
So I thought it might be fun to to a post about my sweet dress.

New Cottage Garden Art Finds~~~

Welcome back to Creative Country Mom's!
I know we have been sharing several garden posts lately....
But I have been lucky to have a few vintage goodies to share as well.
I loved this wood backed large print I found at a thrift store this spring.
At first I was going to put it on the porch on the bench.
Then I decided it was too nice to be outdoors.

Anniversary Cruise in our own Backyard

Welcome back my dear readers to Creative Country Mom's.
Today is a good day, it is our 17th Wedding Anniversary.
We celebrated a bit yesterday, and I will share that in another post.
But today was spent here at the lake... on the water.
And yes, I want you to come along!
We are very fortunate to live on a private 60 acre lake.
