Yes, I am actually doing it. For sure.
I am making over my Country Kitchen.
To a more Cottage Kitchen...
Can't tell the difference... you will soon.
Of all the photos I take and all the things I share....
The kitchen is the most talked about.
And honestly, I loved how it looked for 8 years.
But I see it every day, and it is looking shabby.
My beloved plaid wallpaper is ragged at the edges and has to come down.

Hello again, I am sneaking back today with a post on a new vintage find!
Today I scored this big wonderful family record print in an huge ornate frame.
It is bigger than it looks, 31 by 26 inches.
I loved the aged colors and the vintage flowers that match my plates.
But the handwritten family history sold me!
The dates on the births and marriages start in 1872 and go to 1901.
As always, I wonder how these things end up at a flea market.

I am sharing more of my cloudy day photos.
It has rained a couple times today.
Keeping the garden wet and the flowers soggy.
If the sun comes back out I will try again.
But even though it was overcast,
enjoy the lovely spring blooms on the butterfly hill.
Grab a cup of coffee and look around a bit~!

As I promised I have SO MANY more photos
to share with you of the Nashville Country Living Fair.
I know I have always dreamed of attending one...
and so many wanted to go to it.
So I will just keep posting and hopefully you will enjoy all the DIY and vintage ideas!
Okay, it was all good stuff... but you will see.

Sometimes I feel like it is toss up on what is harder to keep up...
sharing photos of a changing garden on the site
or keeping up with the actual garden!
Spring is a marathon it seems... but a wonderful one.
This week's star is my Sensation lilac I trained into a standard.
I just love it's small tree shape and wonderful scent.

It has been awhile since I shared some pictures of our backyard gardens and the lake.
People come to see the borders, but once they are here they realize it is all about our views.
And yes, the gardens are my passion... but this yard is my husband's.
He always keeps it looking like a golf course, and yes.... uses it as one.
So lets take a little walk around and see the new spring growth in the gardens.
