The Little Hall off our Kitchen...

 Hi there!
This is a quick hello and Happy Weekend to you all.
My hubby is still off work and we have been spending lots of family time.
Golf has started for our oldest and both girls are still competing in summer tennis tourneys.
I did get part of the kitchen wall paper down and the two pumpkin walls painted!
I will share it with you when it is more presentable.
My paint is a slightly aqua version of robin's egg blue.
It is definitely brighter and different....
The girls and I love it and hubby thinks it looks too girly.
Today's share is a quick look at the little hall off the kitchen that leads to the garage.  I painted this last week and took wallpaper border down.  I took some of my more country things and moved them to this little shelf where we hang our coats and purses.
The vintage chalkboard was from my hubby grandparents home.
I love the green color and simple style.
It is a family tradition to sign it when you visit!

Hope all is well with everyone.
I will be back to blogging more when hubby goes back to work!

  1. Brooke,
I l o v e all the renewal you're doing to your Country home. . .outside and inside!!!
I can understand your hubby's remark about it being to girly,
but then he does live with a house full of "girly's"!!!
I have sons. . .so my "dream home" was filled with "guy" things!!!
Moving to this side of the Prairie, I told "Mr. Ed" the dear sheds
and trophy antlers were for the lower level Family Room decor!!!
Thanks for sharing your newly painted little hall off the kitchen!!!
    I L O V E the family heirloom chalkboard!!!
