Looking Lush & Full in the Front Gardens...

Welcome to our Country Home!
Today I am sharing the planting around the front areas of our Farmhouse.
Here I have a mix of sun and shade.
So I have added lots of texture, height and interest.
My small Japanese Maple brings lots of color and drama.
I love the contrast of lights and darks.
My baby Magnolia is slowly filling in to be a focal point in this area.
Country-style plantings around the corner of the porch.
I love all the white blooms in summer with the bits of red.
Can you see the red bee balm?
It's such a fun perennial to grow.
We have been busy this week with {another} tennis camp.
I have already warned my family I will be working in the garden all week.
Especially in the evening... my favorite time.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Daylilies and More at the Driveway Beds...

Hello again!  Welcome Back!!
It is HOT-HOT-HOT in Indiana this week.
Been in the mid to lower 90s all week and humid.
Making me think we might be in for a long dry summer.
So while this is looking fresh and pretty I wanted to share.
The lovely daylilies blooming at the driveway beds.
And the wonderful white blooms of the Annabelle Hydrangea.
Blooming in the island bed.
 What daylily is it?
Stella D'Oro.. but don't call her just a yellow.
She blooms her heart out and will rebloom if I cut her back a bit.
She is a powerhouse in the garden.
Thanks so much for stopping by and please consider becoming a new follower!

Think PINK on the Butterfly Hill...

 Hello sweet friends... Welcome Back!
It is looking like Summer on the Butterfly Hill!
Everything is turning pink and pretty like this lovely daylily.
 And the wonderful grasses...
 Yarrows...Primroses... and Coneflowers!
Can you tell I love PINK?
Soon the sedums, gayflowers and crepe myrtles will join in.
Loads of texture and movement in this area.
I could spent hours on this bench watching the hummingbirds, bees and butterflies.
Thanks so much for visiting... come back soon!
