Pretty as a Postcard.... First Snow of the Year

Today's post is a quick hello...
From a snowy Indiana countryside.
We woke up to a beautiful three inches of powder.
A magical winter wonderland.

And a SNOW DAY before Thanksgiving to make up.
No School for us.

I am still working on the holiday decor.
I have the kitchen and entry done.
The office, family room, living room and master
are partially done... aka a mess!

 Slowly but surely!

Today I had my 30th blogger sign up for the
Christmas in the Country Tour right here at Creative Country Mom's.I added 10 more spots and there is one more week to sign up.
Here is the link... if you want to be featured.

I am so excited to have all the wonderful homes to share this year!

Happy Holidays and God Bless!

  1. Such gorgeous pictures of the first snow. My husband and I have been watching Korean dramas on TV and we recently learned that in Korea the first snow is considered to be very special and romantic and if you go on a date during the first snow you will fall in love. It made me look on our first snow with a new lens this year.

  2. What beautiful scenes. I grew up in snow country and moved to Florida as an adult. I love the snow, and yes, I remember waiting for buses in the freezing cold, and shoveling snow, and waiting for the car to heat up. But it is so beautiful when you no longer have it.

Thanks so much for leaving a comment. I enjoy hearing from my readers!
