A few shots of the fall colors in our backyard today....
These are in-between rain showers.
As you can see, there is still standing water.
But what I wanted to show you is my herons by the shore.
I have been watching a white one and a grey one all week.
The storm clouds make everything glow...
These pics are from the deck... quite a ways away.
Can you see him out by the island?
I see the grey ones more than the white, but they are so neat to watch.
I will try to get better pictures when the yard dries out and the sun is out.
