It's cold... it's dreary.... and trying to rain...
so pull up a stool and I will fix you a cup of something warm.
Let's tour my country kitchen... decorated for fall.
I am not a staging blogger...
Sorry, it is not set up like I am baking cookies.
But I did wash dishes and put a few coats away.
Wiped off the counter tops and put a few things away.
But this is how it looks... lived in.
With a few plants growing on the window seal.
And my husband's John Deere coffee cup ready for him in the morning.
Vintage scales, crocks and birds... you know me by now.
Handy large canisters ready for cooking.
Only a few pumpkins... I loved these metal ones.
I got rid of so much of my fall things in my last yard sale.
This side is my family command center.
Papers to keep, appointments and kid stuff.
And my radio, my posts should have music with them.
I love to have the radio on in the kitchen.
That and to have it smell good...
there is almost always a candle going on the island.
Cute little accents with raveling bows.
A look towards the door to the garage...
Close ups of my country curtains.
Love the embroidery ones and anything plaid or checks.
Grapevine pumpkins and lace atop the pie-pan safe.
Cute little sayings in antiqued frames...
A vintage basket as a shelf... and burlap...
Good daily reminder...
Fabric runner, burlap... more goodies on the table.
Cozy, warm...welcoming... home.
Bits of fabric everywhere I can add it.
I change out the place mats every few weeks.
Everyone gathers in my country kitchen.
Kids, friends, family.
All are welcome here.
Thanks so much for stopping by...
