The Old Washing Machine...

Lets enjoy a close up look at my vintage washing machine....

I guess you could call this a statement piece.
There certainly aren't very many left like this.
I almost never see them in antique stores.
This one is a Banner Rotary.
Which really is a shame that there are so few left.
 They can be quite lovely.
I love the old hardware and patina.
Although I must admit it is a duct collector!
"Dust is a country accent" right?
We will go with that for now...
It can be a bit of a challenge to decorate.
But the garden theme works well with the piece.
It is home to some of my plants.
Vintage postcards and my very own baby shoes.
And lots of lace....
If we ever HAD to use it... it is all there.
The beaters are inside and the plug is still in it.
Could you even imagine?

Not me!
Thanks for visiting today....Brooke
