Notes From A Country Garden - Mid-August

Lets take a look around my country garden in Mid-August....

A bit overcast, but still wanted to share a few garden photos today.
I have been cutting back and hauling out buckets of debris this week.
Adding just a bit of mulch here and there.
I try to do it little by little so it is not such a big job next spring.
I let too many things go to seed last year and have spent all summer controlling seedlings.
This year the coneflowers, phlox and others are being cut back before they can travel.
Plus I have fall perennial that are almost blooming...
Some I have to "dig out" or you would never see.
This year my sedums look wonderful.
I have been planning where I will start new ones come spring.
Look for upcoming posts with my fall blooms soon.
Thanks so much for vising today....Brooke
