An Afternoon on the Butterfly Hill...

Lets take a little time to enjoy the butterflies today.

The butterfly hill garden has been my hangout this week.
This is the before photo...
I have been cutting back perennials and shaping up shrubs.
But the thing I most enjoy is all the butterflies.
They patiently wait for me to get out of their way,
so they can go back to enjoying the blooms.

Thanks so much for visiting....Brooke

  1. Your photographs of the Swallowtail Butterflies are lovely and I really enjoyed them. I have seen a real decline in the butterfly population this year and have witnessed only an occasional Swallowtail on my Butterfly Bush. Thank you for sharing virtually. :)

  2. I like your Strawberry Vanilla paniculata, very pretty, and great that it blooms into fall. I also like pink flowers behind it, is that a Rose of Sharon?
