Oh my gosh... I am so happy to say...
I am celebrating my FOUR YEAR
blogging anniversary here at Creative Country Mom's!
How cool is that?
I have to say, the time has flown by.
And I am so happy I started blogging.
I have met so many wonderful friends.
And grown so much as a gardener and decorator.
It has led to so many opportunities.
Like showcasing new plants as a test garden.
Lecturing in my local area in State and Regional Conferences.
And as of 2012, I am a Lowe's Creative Ideas Blogger.
My first post was January 30, 2009.
It was called "A New Beginning...."
I started my blog with the story of how our house came to be...
Here is our ground before anything was cleared....
The next post was called....
And it showed the grounds after they were mowed
and the start of digging our basement.
The next post was "Putting it all Together"
And it shows the assembly of our new home.
Pretty cool huh?
The next post was called.... "Making A Big Box Into Our Home"
And it shows the addition of the porch and garage...
The next post was... "A First Peek Inside"
The last post in this series was "How It Looks Now, But Never Done"
To see how the garden has grown and changed...
Check out my Tour My Garden Page.
I know many of you probably had no idea my house came in four sections!
It was once in a lifetime experience building our dream home.
I thought it was the perfect way to celebrate today.
Okay, I've shared my Home Story... Now is the time for you to share yours!
Starting this Sunday... Feb 3rd....
I am beginning a new feature on Creative Country Mom's!
Sunday Open House & Garden!!!!
It will be a weekly party for your to share your home and garden tours.
Four years and years I have loved "Open Houses".
I always enjoy seeing what's inside... how people decorate... the hidden garden spaces!
So think about what you'd like to share.... and join us!
Spread the WORD!
I would greatly appreciate if you'd add me to your links and
let your readers know about my new feature.
Again, thanks so much for following me and your continued friendship.
I only see good things to come and I cannot wait to share them with you!

So glad you could join me for day three of my little tour of
I visited Nashville in May of last year and the gardens were just stunning.
We'll honestly doesn't everything green look pretty when it is cold and muddy right now?
But this little town is a treasure trove of gardens, love...love....love!
And of course.... creative garden decor! That is what today's post is about.
Cool, funky garden ACCENTS!
Okay, I would have never thought of this, but CLEVER!
Love the spoon as the perch.
And who ever thought those bags could be so darn pretty....
Of course, we all want a PAINTED BICYCLE!
I know this isn't garden decor, but love the big ice cream cone...
This is a great place to eat while we shop!
And more shopping we will do....
can you say GARDEN PARADISE?
How much can your car hold?
Lol... You'll want a little of everything.
I'm drooling over these copper rain chains.... FANTASTIC!
But here is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE GARDEN ACCENTS---
This licence plate palm tree!!!!
Don't that beat ALL!
OMG... I love it in so many ways.
I am not done yet!
I have saved the best for last!
A two day garden tour... Can't wait for you to see it.
Come back tomorrow.... See you then!
You can find more info about the area on the Little Nashville Site found HERE.

Today is day two of my Tour of Little Nashville Indiana for you!
If you missed the first day you can find it HERE.
I have chosen two rustic and primative shops for you today.
I know you are going to love them.
The first one is Natures's Cabin in Antique Alley.
This area is set off of the main road, nested in some trees.
For years I have loved this part of Little Nashville.
It is part of the older area and so peaceful.
I love how free and natural the gardens appear to be.
All of the shops are in the garden spaces.
With lovely accents to enjoy. Love this one!
And even a plant or two might be for sale!
I wish more businesses came with a garden... don't you?
Lets go on down the street a little bit...
This is the Woodland Gallery.
I just fell in love with these tree stump planters!
They are real stumps, I checked.
But these smiling deer just did me in.
I hope you are enjoying your tour.
I looked up both of these and they do not have websites.
There is more to see, come back tomorrow for more of this fun series!
Thanks for stopping by...
