Pretty things at the Porch

 

A few shots of things around the porch this morning…. I got this cute braided rug at a thrift store Wednesday for $4.00.  It is perfect on the porch, heavy enough not to blow around and the cats already love to lay on it.  Hoping to go to a few yardsales this weekend and a daylily farm for the first time.  My knee is feeling better, but still slow and sore.  See the dr on Monday.

Summer Roses To Love

The orange you see is a few glads opening up…. this is a really pretty one.

These are some of my Jackson and Perkins roses in bloom this week.  This first one is a test rose without a name.  I can think of several it is so lovely. 

It was planted bareroot in March and as you can see it is quite full and lovely already.

 

 

Angelface…. I love the curly petals and color of this rose.  Smells great too.

 

Our Lady of Guadalupe, another J&P introduction…. very romantic rose.
